THE LOYALIST MONUMENT. – Referring to the late letter of “A Loyalist,” and other allusions of the Press to the subject, various opinions are elicited. “E. J. R.,” who, as he correctly writes to the Globe, bestowed a great deal of attention on the subject some time ago, prefers a monument proper; others would like to see utility combined with beauty and sacrifice. Let the discussions go on, and an expression of public opinion be evoked.
