Legislative Council
Fredericton, Feb. 25.
The Corporation’s Bill Committee reported favorably on bill relating to auctioneers.
The House went into Committee on the Bill, Mr. Ryan in the chair.
Mr. Hanington said the object of referring the bill to a committee was to see if it would not be better to include a section to repeal a portion of the Auctioneer’s Act in the Consolidated Statues as to the percentage paid the Government by the Auctioneers, which was virtually a dead letter.
The bill passed without amendment.
