GRAND MILITARY CONCERT.—On Monday evening, the 19th inst., a grand concert will be given at the Institute under the auspices of the 62nd Fusiliers, which will he particularly interesting and novel; the occasion being the anniversary of the landing of the Loyalists, the entertainment will be of a military character entirely, and to attain that end, a picked lot of the men of the battalion, numbering upwards of 50, have been drilling for some weeks past in the bayonet exercise, which, with various other military movements, will be produced on the stage, after which a tableau will be given, the subject being Miss Thomson’s celebrated picture. The Roll Call, for which many rehearsals have also been held. Of course the bands of the corps will take part, and also some of the best lady and gentlemen amateurs in the city, which will make up an entertainment seldom surpassed here.
