The Moniteur Acadien publishes a letter presenting an earnest plea to the Acadien electors to support the Blair administration; on numerous grounds of public policy, and also because of its policy of fair play to both the Catholic and Acadien minorities in the province. The contributor thinks that further recognition should be given of Acadien rights, but that is a matter for future consideration and will depend altogether upon the ability and strength of the deputation they may send to Fredericton in whose representation the government may have confidence.
