Lawrence, because of the active part he took in preserving the history of the United Empire Loyalists and their descendants. The society last evening resolved to cooperate with the Historical Society in the matter and Mr. D. R. Jack and Dr. A. A. Stockton were appointed to consult with the family of deceased and with the church officers. Col. Cunard and Col. Underhill Were appointed a committee to arrange for the firing of a royal salute on May 18, the anniversary of the landing of the loyalists. A committee consisting of President Dr. Bayard, Secretary H. J, Anderson and Treasurer I. H. Northrup was named to consult the rector and wardens of Trinity church with the view of arranging for an anniversary service to be held on the Sunday immediately preceding May 18. To such service all loyalists and their descendants will be invited.
