A Centennial Suggestion. SIR: Now that the Centennial is approaching and a suitable monument in honor of the Loyalists is being projected, would it not be well, as an initiative, if some of the leading movers in the project were to agitate the placing of a suitable railing, with a proper foundation, round the old burial ground, so that the honored dust of those who founded the city may be preserved intact in their last resting place? Let any one in passing up King street East look at the bulging out, rotten, and tumble-down state of the old graveyard fence, and then turn the corner and pass down Carmarthen street, making a close inspection as he goes along, and say if a better or more useful monument could be erected than a proper enclosure around this hallowed spot. Yours, B. B. St. John, Sept. 12th.
